Covid-19 update for our clients
We hope that our clients/friends and patients are all safe and well during this unsettling time and that the ‘new normal’ is taking shape.
Changes for businesses are being enforced up and down the country due to the impact of the pandemic and Ambleside Vets is unfortunately not an exception to this.
Since the beginning of lockdown, Ian, Mari and Bridie have worked relentlessly, 24 hours a day, in order to keep caring for your beloved animals and will continue to do so but with extra help for Out-of-Hours cases.
This is something we have thought about long and hard about as we have been a Practice that has proudly offered our own emergency services for over 20 years, but the gruelling effects of Covid-19 have forced us to reconsider.
It is important that the level of care for your animals is continuously managed to a high standard and that our staff’s health and safety is protected.
As of today we have taken the difficult decision to suspend our own out of hours provisions and are utilising a partner company called VetsNow to help during the current crisis. VetsNow employ qualified vets and nurses who only work out of hours to ensure high levels of care for your pets.
